Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced technical lead to join our UI team in Gurugram to build out new functionality, improve our overall architecture and help us complete our transition to a fully React Single-Page App.

The successful candidate will be working closely with our other Javascript Engineers and Front End Developers as well as our in-house UI Designer. They will be responsible for owning development projects from start to completion, designing endpoints with our backend team, and influencing the overall architecture of the application.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead a team of highly talented and passionate engineers.
  • Deliver product/feature/module in a global team environment with members working remotely in various time zones and locations
  • Write/Review code every day in addition to pairing with team members on functional and nonfunctional requirements
  • Ensure all code is thoroughly covered by automated tests and that all features meet quality checks before deployment.
  • Contributing to the constant improvement of practices and processes in the team.
  • Building and managing automated build/test/deployment environments
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Architecture, Testing, Product, Mobile, DevOps, UX, Data Science, Data Engineering etc.) to define and execute the feature roadmap.
  • Research new technologies and tools and share your learning with the rest of the team.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to the team members & deliver technical training's & tech-talks

What makes you a great fit for our team:

  • 8+ years of experience with at least 3 years of working with React.
  • User focused – we solve problems together, everybody has a say in strategy & design
  • Proven excellence in writing readable and efficient Javascript code in ES2016+
  • Experience in React.JS and the surrounding ecosystem
  • Expertise with a modern state-management framework (Redux, MobX, Cycle.js, etc)
  • Good understanding of various CI services (Jenkins, Travis, Coveralls, Pipelines, etc)
  • Understanding of CSS in JS libraries along with some knowledge of CSS Concepts (Box Model, Collapsed containers etc.).
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of functional programming patterns
  • Good working knowledge of the DOM
  • Familiar with build tools such as Webpack and Gulp, Babel
  • Understanding of best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, test driven development
  • You are a problem solver with exceptional analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Able to occasionally travel to the USA headquarters in Redwood Shores, CA
  • Able to lead by an example and operate in an environment promoting diversity, inclusion and respect


Bachelors - (Preferably from Tier-1 College)
